Why We Built This Site
New Jersey divides access by record owner. MCCI creates county booking and custody data, police departments retain their own reports, and the Judiciary keeps complaints, case jackets, and dispositions. The New Jersey State Police State Bureau of Identification maintains the fingerprint-based statewide history. NJDOC and the New Jersey Sex Offender Internet Registry answer still different questions. We bring the verified contacts, request steps, fees, and official search routes for those offices into a clear Monmouth County reference.
What You Will Find Here
- Agency contacts: verified routes to MCSO, MCCI, Monmouth Criminal Division, and statewide New Jersey systems
- Official check steps: the difference between SBI fingerprint self-review and limited statutory name-check channels
- Record guides: how to find and read Monmouth criminal court cases
- Record relief: where New Jersey expungement petitions and supporting records are filed
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference resource, not part of a New Jersey court, police department, sheriff's office, or state agency. Its role has firm limits:
- We do not issue certified court records, police reports, or SBI histories
- We cannot submit an OPRA request or expungement filing for a visitor
- We do not run official record checks or retrieve a person's government file
- We cannot apply New Jersey law to a specific charge, warrant, or case
- We cannot promise that a government fee, office hour, or portal will never change
Only the originating office, such as MCSO, New Jersey Courts, or NJSP/SBI, can provide and authenticate an official criminal record.
Search Partners
Third-party providers operate the search boxes that appear on some pages. They control their results, prices, and service terms. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral fee that supports free access to this resource. We do not set the provider's charges or determine what its search returns.
