Terms of Use

These conditions govern every visit, search, and use of content on this website. Using the service means accepting all terms below. Anyone who does not agree must stop using it.

NO FCRA USE. This privately operated website has no government affiliation. It and its advertising partners do not provide services for credit, employment, insurance, housing, or any other decision governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The resource identifies criminal-record channels in Monmouth County, New Jersey. It is neither a private-investigation service nor a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no connection to a public office. It does not store official files, conduct government checks, retrieve records, or submit documents for a user.

Its content points to Monmouth County custodians, New Jersey Courts, NJSP/SBI, and the New Jersey Sex Offender Internet Registry. Some pages also connect readers with third-party research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use of the website is conditioned on the following limits. A user may not:

  • Use automated bots or scrapers against the pages
  • Interfere with performance or another visitor's access
  • Attempt unauthorized entry into any system or account
  • Use content for an FCRA-regulated decision
  • Stalk, threaten, or harass another person
  • Violate federal, New Jersey, or local law

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

No information found here or through a linked service may be used to threaten, stalk, intimidate, harass, or discriminate. New Jersey imposes special restrictions on misuse of the New Jersey Sex Offender Internet Registry. Registry information serves community safety and does not authorize confrontation, vigilantism, or unlawful discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and produce no consumer reports, credit reports, or official background checks. The same restriction applies to using content from a linked tool. Prohibited purposes include:

  • Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA
  • Eligibility for credit or insurance
  • Housing or rental screening
  • Employment decisions
  • Eligibility decisions for licenses or public benefits

A lawful official check for a regulated purpose must use NJSP/SBI or an appropriate FCRA-compliant provider.

5. No Legal Advice

General explanations of Monmouth County records are not legal advice. Only a licensed New Jersey attorney can advise how an expungement, warrant, conviction, or pending charge applies to specific facts.

6. No Warranties

All services and content are offered "as is." There is no guarantee that:

  • A partner search will be complete or correctly matched
  • The website will operate without interruption
  • Every page will be free from faults or security risks
  • Information will always be current, complete, and accurate

Charges, dispositions, expungements, and access rules change. Gaps may result. No text here is an official statement by MCSO, a court, NJSP, or any other government body.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

A link may lead to a sheriff, court, state agency, legal-aid resource, or private service. We do not control the destination's availability, fees, privacy practices, or content. Its terms should be reviewed separately.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, code, graphics, and logos belong to Monmouth County Criminal History or its content partners. Written permission is required before copying, modifying, distributing, or creating derivative material.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim liability for harm arising from use of the website or reliance on information obtained here or from a linked service.

10. Indemnification

A user agrees to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, demands, actions, expenses, and legal fees caused by that user's conduct or violation of these terms.

11. Governing Law

New Jersey law governs these terms. Any dispute related to the website must be brought in a court located in New Jersey.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised. A new version becomes effective when it is posted on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be suspended or ended at any time, with or without prior notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions continue. The affected language is adjusted only as far as necessary to make it enforceable.
